|⅔ pack||(6-oz) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels|
|⅓ cup||Heavy cream|
|1 cup||Sifted confectioners' sugar|
|1 teaspoon||Almond extract|
|Chopped toasted almonds (optional)|
In small saucepan, combine Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels, heavy cream and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer to small bowl; cool 15 minutes. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and almond extract; beat well.
Perfect for angel food or sponge cake. Pour over cake while glaze is still warm. Garnish with chopped toasted almonds, if desired. Chill to set glaze.
Makes 1-¼ cups glaze.
