Brown 1 lb.ground beef in 1 tbs.corn oil.Add 1 cup chopped onion,½ finely chopped bell pepper,1 finely chopped canned or fresh chili pepper and 1 clove minced garlic.Cook until onion is soft.Add 3 tbs.chili powder, 1 tbs.ground cumin,and 2 tbs.each ground corriander and dried oregano;cook 1 minute more.Add 1 tbs.flour;cook until flour is completely absorbed.Add 1 cup tomato puree and 5 cups beef broth,and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil and simmer 20 minutes.Add 3 cups cooked kidney beans and simmer 5 minutes more....
