Cheese onion bread

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Chopped onion
3 tablespoons Melted butter
1 \N Egg, beaten
½ cup Milk
1½ cup Bisquick
1 cup Grated sharp cheese
1 tablespoon Poppy seeds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute onion in 1 tablespoon of butter until tender, but not clear. Combine egg and milk; add to Bisquick and stir only until dry ingredients are moist. Stir in onion and ½ cup of cheese. Place in a greased 9x9 inch baking dish; top with remaining cheese, poppy seeds, and remaining melted butter. Bake for 30 minutes; cut into squares. I love this bread with chili, with BEANS! hehe Randy Rigg
