Carolyn's combination quiche

Ingredients

| 3 | (8-inch) unbaked pie shells | |
| 1 | cup | Grated sharp Cheddar cheese |
| ½ | cup | Chopped onion |
| 3 | cups | Cream |
| 1 | dash | Each: nutmeg; black pepper, seasoned salt; cayenne |
| 2 | cups | Cooked ham; cubed |
| 1 | cup | Grated Swiss cheese |
| 6 | Eggs | |
| 1 | can | (large) whole button mushrooms |
Directions
Divide ham into three equal portions & spread on the bottom of each pie shell. Repeat the same with the onions, drained mushrooms & cheeses. In a large bowl, beat together remaining ingredients. Pour equal amounts in the three pie shells. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until center appears firm when shaken gently. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing.
NOTE: Delicious with fresh green salad and white wine.
