Yield: 12 Servings
|3||(8-inch) unbaked pie shells|
|1 cup||Grated sharp Cheddar cheese|
|½ cup||Chopped onion|
|1 dash||Each: nutmeg; black pepper, seasoned salt; cayenne|
|2 cups||Cooked ham; cubed|
|1 cup||Grated Swiss cheese|
|1 can||(large) whole button mushrooms|
Divide ham into three equal portions & spread on the bottom of each pie shell. Repeat the same with the onions, drained mushrooms & cheeses. In a large bowl, beat together remaining ingredients. Pour equal amounts in the three pie shells. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until center appears firm when shaken gently. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing.
NOTE: Delicious with fresh green salad and white wine.
