Carolyn's combination quiche

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 (8-inch) unbaked pie shells
1 cup Grated sharp Cheddar cheese
½ cup Chopped onion
3 cups Cream
1 dash Each: nutmeg; black pepper, seasoned salt; cayenne
2 cups Cooked ham; cubed
1 cup Grated Swiss cheese
6 Eggs
1 can (large) whole button mushrooms

Divide ham into three equal portions & spread on the bottom of each pie shell. Repeat the same with the onions, drained mushrooms & cheeses. In a large bowl, beat together remaining ingredients. Pour equal amounts in the three pie shells. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until center appears firm when shaken gently. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing.

NOTE: Delicious with fresh green salad and white wine.
