Caramelized western pears

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
6 mediums Pears or apples
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Butter
1 cup Heavy cream

Peel, quarter and core pears. Arrange in buttered shallow casserole.

Sprinkle with sugar, dot with butter. Bake at 450 for 45 min. until sugar is golden. While baking base with pan juces several time.

Remove pears from pan, pour in cream and stir. Return fruit. Return to oven and bake 5 min. Serve with pan juices.
