Caramel crunch apple pie

| 9 | Inch unbaked pie crust | |
| 28 | Caramels | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Water |
| ¾ | cup | Flour |
| ⅓ | cup | Butter |
| 4 | cups | Apple slices -- peeled |
| ⅓ | cup | Sugar |
| ½ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| ½ | cup | Walnuts -- chopped |
Directions
Melt caramels with water over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth.
Layer apples and caramel sauce into pie crust. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, and cimmamon; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 F for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
