Carambola chutney

1 cup

Ingredients

2cupsCarambola (star fruit) cubed (3/4 lb)
¼cupSugar
½cupDry red wine
1tablespoonGinger, peeled finely chopped
¼teaspoonGround cloves
2tablespoonsWhite wine vinegar

Directions

Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan and stir well. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook for 25 minutes or until slightly thickened.
