Canadian pickles

Yield: 4 Pints

Measure Ingredient
2 quarts Sliced cucumbers
½ cup Water
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Vinegar
½ teaspoon Alum
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
2 teaspoons Tumeric

Mix everything together except cucumbers. Bring to a boil. Add cucumbers to liquid and bring to boil again. Fill jars and seal. Hot water bath 15 minutes.
