Crisp summer pickles

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Cider vinagar
1½ cup Sugar
1½ cup Cold water
1½ tablespoon Onion flakes -or- (up to)
2 \N Onions; cut into slices, and then in halves
¾ teaspoon Salt
¾ teaspoon Celery seed
½ teaspoon Garlic
½ teaspoon Celery salt
½ teaspoon Onion salt
4 mediums Cucumbers unpared (unpeeled) and cut into 1/4 inch slices
