1 pounds | Squid (Calamari steaks) |
½ cup | Oil |
2 eaches | Garlic cloves, minced |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
1 each | Small red pepper |
1 tablespoon | Bread or Cracker crumbs |
1 tablespoon | Margarine |
1 tablespoon | Parsley, minced |
Clean squid and cut into 1 inch squares, slice tentacles. Or use pre-cleaned Calamari steaks cut into 1 inch squares. Brown garlic in oil, add squid, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over high heat until liquid is evaporated. Add crumbs, margarine and parsley. Cook 2 min more, stirring well to keep from sticking.
