Yield: 42 Servings
|1 \N||Stick butter or margarine|
|1 \N||Jar (18-oz) chunky peanut butter|
|1 \N||Box powdered sugar|
|3 cups||Crispy rice cereal|
|1 \N||(8-oz) giant chocolate bar|
|¾ \N||Bar paraffin|
Combine butter & peanut butter. Beat. Add powdered sugar & mix well. Add cereal & mix well again. Make into 1-inch balls (mixture may be crumbly.) Melt chocolate bar & paraffin ni double boiler. Use toothpicks to dip peanut butter balls into chocolate mixture. Keep chocolate over hot water while dipping to keep it from hardening. Place buckeyes on waxed paper.
Refrigerate. Recipe makes about 7 dozen. (These are always a favorite with my children.)
