Brown rice #2

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Rice
¾ Stick butter or margarine
1 cup Water
1 can Mushrooms; drained
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 small Onion; grated
1 can Beef bouillon or consomme

Mix all ingredients in covered casserole. Place foil between dish & lid to form a tight cover. Bake 1 hour at 350. Fluff with fork before serving.

Keeps warm 30 minutes or longer. Good with game, poultry, beef or pork.
