Yield: 8 Servings
|1 \N||Brie; 17-ounce cheese wheel|
|3 tablespoons||Grey poupon spicy brown mustard|
|2 tablespoons||Fleischmann's margarine|
|2 tablespoons||Dry sherry|
|1 tablespoon||Apricot preserves|
|⅓ cup||Planters sliced almonds; toasted|
|\N \N||Sage sprigs for garnish|
|\N \N||Crackers; french bread or fruit pieces|
On greased broiler pan, broil cheese 6 inches from heat source for 8 to 10 minutes or until soft.
In small saucepan, heat mustard, margarine, sherry and preserves to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 1 minute. Place cheese on serving platter. Spoon mustard mixture over cheese; top with almonds and garnish with sage if desired. Serve with crackers, french bread or assorted fruit pieces.
