Brandied louisiana yams

Measure Ingredient
4 tablespoons Margarine, pareve
½ cup Brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon Orange peel, grated
½ cup Brandy
8 Med.yams,cooked,peel,slice>>
OR
2 1 lb.canned yams, drained>>
Sliced.

Melt margarine in large skillet. Add sugar and stir over low heat until melted. Add yams, orange peel, and brandy and cook over low heat 15 min. basting yams frequently.
