Bourbon cookies

| 4 | cups | All-purpose flour |

| 1 | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
| 1 | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
| 1 | cup | Good bourbon whiskey |
| 3 | teaspoons | Baking soda; dissolved in |
| 2 | tablespoons | Buttermilk |
| ¼ | pounds | Citron or candied fruit |
| 2 | pounds | Chopped pecans |
| 1½ | pounds | Raisins |
Directions
Mix in the order given and drop by half teaspoonfuls on a buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 350° F.
