Boston corn chowder

Ingredients

6slicesBacon, diced
440gramsCorn kernels (2 small tins)
1largeOnion, finely chopped
3cupsChicken stock (750ml)
1cupCream (250ml) - fresh
1teaspoonSugar
½teaspoonPepper
1Bay leaf

Directions

1. In a large saucepan, cook onions until soft. 2. Combine all ingredients except bacon & cream. 3. Simmer for 15 minutes. 4.

Meanwhile sautee diced bacon, until cooked 5. Add cream & diced bacon - serve
