Bob's vegetable beef soup

Ingredients

1poundsGround chuck
1Yellow onion medium diced
4cupsWater
1canCarrots with juice
1canPeas with juice
1canTomato wedges with juice
1Bag frozen mixed vegetables; (western style/country style)
3Potatoes; up to 5, sliced
2Bay leaves

Directions

Brown meat with onion, salt and pepper to taste. After the meat is browned, add other ingredients bring to boil for 30 minutes. Turn down and cook on low for 1½ hours. Simmer for 30 minutes.
