1 medium | Onion -- thinly sliced |
2 \N | Cloves garlic -- minced |
10 ounces | Sirloin steak -- cut into |
\N \N | Thin slices |
2 teaspoons | Cornstarch |
3 teaspoons | Water |
1 teaspoon | Sugar |
2 teaspoons | Nuoc Mam sauce |
\N \N | OR light soy sauce |
1. Pour 6 tablespoons oil into a skillet. Add the potatoes and fry until brown. Discard the oil and set aside the potatoes. 2. Fry the onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons oild. Add the beef and stir-fry for 1 minute. 3. Mix the cornstarch, water, sugar, and Nuoc Mam sauce to a smooth paste. Add this to the beef and stir. Add the potatoes and stir well to combine.
