|2 larges||Peeled potatoes -- cut into|
|1 medium||Onion -- thinly sliced|
|2||Cloves garlic -- minced|
|10 ounces||Sirloin steak -- cut into|
|2 teaspoons||Nuoc Mam sauce|
|OR light soy sauce|
1. Pour 6 tablespoons oil into a skillet. Add the potatoes and fry until brown. Discard the oil and set aside the potatoes. 2. Fry the onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons oild. Add the beef and stir-fry for 1 minute. 3. Mix the cornstarch, water, sugar, and Nuoc Mam sauce to a smooth paste. Add this to the beef and stir. Add the potatoes and stir well to combine.
