Baby carrots with ginger & sage butter

Ingredients

2poundsBaby carrots - scrubbed
Clean
½cupUnsalted butter - one stick
tablespoonFirmly packed brown sugar
2tablespoonsFresh ginger -- chopped
½Lemon - juiced
¼teaspoonSalt
1Clove garlic - mashed
1tablespoonFresh sage - chopped
Or 1 teaspoon dried sage

Directions

Poach carrots in simmering water or chicken broth until just tender.
