Asparagus swiss

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
1canAll green asparagus spears
½Stick butter
2tablespoons(heaping) flour
1cupJuice from asparagus
1cupRich sweet milk
1cupGrated Swiss cheese
2slicesBread crumbs

Directions

Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add liquid slowly and cook until thickened. Add grated cheese, set aside. Cut and arrange spears in dish, layer with bread crumbs. Pour sauce over asparagus; top with remaining bread crumbs. Bake 15 minutes in 400 degree oven. Serve hot.
