Yield: 6 dozen
|2½ cup||Graham cracker crumbs|
|1 cup||Almonds, slivered; chipped|
|16 ounces||Cream cheese; softened|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large saucepan, melt butter. Remove fromheat; stir in graham cracker crumbs, almonds, sugar, and ¼ cup Amaretto. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remaining mixture into 15-1/2x10-1/2x1" baking pan. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Set aside.
In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until well blended.
Add eggs, one at time. Stir in ½ cup amaretto. Pour over crust.
Bake additional 20 to 25 minutes until set. Cool completely on wire rack. Refrigerate before serving. Cut into bars.
