Ingredients

| 1 | medium | Onion finely chopped |
| ¾ | pounds | Lean ground beef/lamb |
| Salt and pepper | ||
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice |
| ⅓ | cup | Pine nuts optional |
Directions
Heat the butter in a frying pan. Fry onions until transparent. Add the meat and fry it, tossing it and squashing with a fork, until it changes color. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and cinnamon and stir in the optional pine nuts. Moisten with a few tablespoons of water and cook gently, covered, until meat is very tender.
