Measure Ingredient
1 \N (3 oz.) pkg. Jello (lime or
\N \N Lemon)
1 cup Boiling water
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Cold water
2 \N Egg whites
\N pinch Salt
1⅓ cup Milk
⅓ cup Sugar
2 \N Egg yolks
1 \N Or 2 tbsp. flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla


Dissolve Jello and sugar in boiling water. Add cool water and let cool until syrupy. Whip. Add salt and 2 beaten egg whites. Cool to set. May put in mold. For Sauce: Blend heated milk with sugar and egg yolks. Add flour to thicken. Stir over heat until thick (when mixture begins to boil). Add vanilla. Cool. Serve custard sauce over Jello mix.
