Yankee fruit salad

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 can (20-oz) crushed pineapple
1 pack (3-oz) lemon gelatin
1 can (2-oz) pimiento; chopped
2 packs (3-oz) cream cheese
½ cup Chopped celery
⅔ cup Chopped nuts
1 pinch Salt
½ cup Cream; whipped

Bring pineapple to boil. Add gelatin and cool. Beat cheese until smooth.

Stir into pineapple. Add celery, pimiento and nuts. Fold in cream. Pour into 2-quart mold. Chill 24 hours.
