Vanilla ice cream with blackberry swirl - bon appetit

Ingredients

| 4 | 1/2-pint baskets blackberries | |
| ¾ | cup | Sugar |
| 2 | tablespoons | Fresh lemon juice |
| 2 | pints | Vanilla ice cream, softened |
Directions
Blend berries, sugar and lemon juice in processor until berries are coarsely chopped. Transfer to bowl. Cover and let stand 2 to 6 hours at room temperature.
Add ice cream to berry sauce; fold together. Scoop into bowls; serve.
