Vanilla butter

| ½ | cup | Unsalted butter, at room temperature |
| 3 | tablespoons | Powdered sugar, sifted |
| 1 | tablespoon | Vanilla extract |
Directions
With a wooden spoon, an electric mixer, or a food processor, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the vanilla until smooth. Scrape into a decorative serving dish and chill, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Let stand at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before serving.
