Turkey asparagus melt

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
¼cupMayonnaise or salad dressing
2tablespoonsDijon mustard
½teaspoonDried sage leaves; crushed
3Sourdough hoagie buns or hoagie buns; split lengthwise (about 6-inch length)
¾poundsSliced cooked turkey
1can(15 oz) green giant extra long tender green asparagus spears; drained
½cupRed onion rings
cupShredded colby cheese; monterey jack blend cheese or cheddar cheese
6 sandwiches

Directions

In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard and sage; mix well. Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons mixture on each bun half. Top each with one-sixth of turkey, asparagus spears, onion rings and cheese.

Place sandwiches on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 3 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese is bubbly.
