Tomato dal (tomato pappu)

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Tur gram; (toor or toovar dal)
4 \N Rips tomatoes
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
½ teaspoon Black mustard seeds
½ teaspoon Peeled broken black gram dal; (urad dal)
2 \N Green chillies
1 \N Onion
1 tablespoon Oil
1 tablespoon Chilli powder
1 \N Sprig curry leaves
\N \N Salt; to taste

1. Boil tur gram and keep aside.

2. Chop tomatoes, onion and green chillies.

3. Fry cumin seeds, mustards seeds, black gram and curry leaves. Add onion and green chillies. After a minute, add tomatoes.

4. Add tur gram, half a glass of water, salt and chilli powder. Cook until thick. Stir
