|1 pounds||Lean ground beef|
|1 medium||Onion, minced|
|1 pack||(1.25-oz.) Taco seasoning mix|
|1 cup||Rosarita Traditional Salsa mild|
|1 can||(16-oz.) Rosarita No Fat Traditional Refried Beans|
|2 cups||Crushed, unsalted tortilla chips|
|2 cups||Grated Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, mixed (or low fat)|

|\N x||Tomatoes (optional)|
|\N x||Lite sour cream (optional)|
|\N x||Chopped olives (optional)|
In a large skillet brown hamburger and onions; drain. Add taco mix, salsa and water; mix well. Simmer for 10 minutes, add refried beans and set aside. In an ungreased 12- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish place a layer of ½ the tortilla chips, ½ meat and bean mixture, and ½ the mixed cheeses; repeat layers with remaining ingredients. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes. If desired, serve on a bed of lettuce and top with tomatoes, sour cream and chopped olives.
Serve with additional salsa.
