Measure | Ingredient |

1¼ pounds | Sweet potato, diced, peeled |
3 \N | Carrots, chopped |
1 large | Celery stalk, chopped |
1 \N | Bay leaf |
6 cups | Water |
2 tablespoons | Lemon juice |
1 teaspoon | Hungarian sweet paprika |
Put all vegetables with the bay leaf in a soup pot. Add water & bring to a boil. Simmer for about one hour. Stir occasionally.
Just befroe serving, add lemon juice & paprika. Remove bay leaf.
