1 \N | Egg, well beaten |
¼ cup | Melted butter |
1 cup | Milk |
¾ cup | Dark corn syrup |
½ cup | Flour |
½ teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
½ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
Mix sweet potatoes with egg, melted butter & milk. Stir in corn syrup. Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour mixture into 1½ quart baking dish. Bake in slow oven of 325 for 2 ½ hours. Stir occasionally during first hour. Serve hot or cold. When cold, it can be sliced & served with milk or cream.
