Sweet and sour sausage kabobs

¼cupFirmly packed brown sugar
1tablespoonCornstarch
cupApple juice
¼cupCider vinegar
1teaspoonGrated orange peel
1poundsPolska kielbasa -- in 20
Pieces
2mediumsRed cooking apples -- in 20
Wedges
1largeBell pepper -- in 10 chunks

Directions

Heat grill. In small pan, combine all glaze ing, blending well. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.

alternately thread sausage, apples, and peppers on 5 12" skewers Grill over med hi gas heat or 4-6 inches from coals. Cook 4 mins. Brush with glaze, turn, brush again. Cook 4 mins more. Serve with remaining glaze.
