Sweet and sour kidney beans

Ingredients

2cansKidney beans; drained (1 lb. each)
1canGarbanzo beans; drained (1 lb.)
1mediumOnion; chopped fine
½cupDiced celery
1mediumGreen pepper; chopped fine
½cupSugar
1teaspoonSeasoned salt
1teaspoonBlack pepper
½cupSalad oil
½cupWine vinegar

Directions

Combine vegetables in large bowl.

Combine sugar, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar and pour over vegetables.

Stir well; cover and refrigerate overnight.

Stir occasionally to marinate thoroughly.

Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
