Sushi-meshi (rice w/sweet vinegar sauce)

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
10 cups Rice
3 cups Vinegar
5 tablespoons Salt
2 cups Sugar
1 tablespoon Gourmet powder (MSG)
¼ cup Dried shrimp
1½ pounds Fresh shrimp
5 tablespoons Sugar
1 teaspoon Gourmet powder (MSG)
½ teaspoon Salt
\N \N Red coloring

FILLING

Boil the shrimps. Shell and bray in surabachi. (Corregated earthenware bowl). Add the seasonings. Fry in slightly greased pan until dry. Add to sushi-meshi.
