Stuffed tomato with crab meat

Ingredients

6Firm; ripe tomatoes, peeled & cored
1carton(8-oz) small curd creamy cottage cheese
2tablespoonsChopped green pepper
Salt & pepper to taste
1pintMayonnaise
1Bottle (12-oz) chili sauce
1tablespoonLemon juice
1can(6-oz) crab meat; drained, bones removed & flaked
2tablespoonsFinely chopped celery

Directions

CRAB MEAT DRESSING

Peel tomatoes, core them & cut in eighths, almost to the bottom. Drain. Mix cottage cheese with chopped green pepper. Salt & pepper to taste. Stuff tomatoes with mixture & cover with crab meat dressing. Crab Meat Dressing: Mix ingredients together well & refrigerate. Spoon over stuffed tomatoes.

Good on lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Keeps well in refrigerator.
