Split pea soup with ham

Ingredients

| ¾ | pounds | Finely diced ham |
| 8 | cups | Pork Stock |
| 1 | cup | Finely diced onion |
| 1 | cup | Finely diced carrots |
| 1 | cup | Finely diced celery |
| 1 | teaspoon | White pepper |
| 2 | cups | Heavy cream |
Directions
Soak beans overnight or cover with water in a large soup kettle and boil for 1 hour. Drain water.
Add all ingredients except cream and simmer until peas and vegetables are tender. Add cream and heat through. Serve immediately.
