Spiced apple butter

| 1 | cup | Apple cider |
| 2 | teaspoons | Ground cinnamon |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground allspice |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
Directions
Place apples and cider in pot over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil. Lower heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for about ½ hour. Stir in spices. Continue simmering and stirring for another ½ hour, or until apple slices have disintegrated and butter is thick. Remove from heat. Transfer to 4 1-cup containers, and store in fridge.
