Sherry cookies

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Butter
1 Lemon rind; grated
1 tablespoon Sherry

Combine all ingredients. Roll ¼ inch thick. Cut out (you may drop by teaspoon). Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Watch carefully as they will burn quickly. From a recipe dated 1797! MRS HELEN HOSEY REDDOCK
