Savory yogurt topping

Ingredients

¾cupStrained nonfat plain yogurt
1tablespoonFresh parsley, minced
1tablespoonFresh chives, minced
½teaspoonMaple syrup, pure
teaspoonGround black pepper
1tablespoonWhite wine, optional

Directions

Gently blend all ingredients together. The maple syrup does not make this sweet; it simply takes off the sharp bite of the yogurt.

CAUTION: If you overstir strained yogurt, it will become thin.

Yield: 1 cup
