½ teaspoon | Salt |
300 millilitres | Water |
2 xes | Green chillies, fine chop |
3 tablespoons | Corn oil |
1 x | Sm aubergine, chopped |
1 x | Onion, sliced |
Mix together the flour, raising agents, spices and salt, then slowly beat in the water and add the chillies. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the aubergine and onion until soft. When cool, add these to the batter. Beat again thoroughly and fry spoonfuls of the mixture in hot oil on both side until brown and crisp.
