Rolled molasses cookies

Yield: 48 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Molasses
1 cup Butter (margarine)
2 teaspoons Baking soda
1 cup Sugar
⅔ cup Hot water
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Ginger (up to)
4 cups Flour (save some to roll the dough out on!)

From: Charlotte Heath <dtcheat@...> Date: 4 Apr 1995 18:08:58 -0500 This recipe came from my grandmother. They are family favorites! ROLLED MOLASSES COOKIES - (Gramps Favorite!) Soften margarine, then mix all ingredients together. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters, or the rim of a drinking glass. Place on cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees. (the recipe doesn't have a time to cook them, so you will have to experiment)! Keep in an airtight container, they will be soft and yummy! REC.FOOD.RECIPES ARCHIVES
