Refried beans with cheese

2cupsCooked pinto beans or
1each(16 oz.) can, drained
1eachOnion, finely chopped
½teaspoonChili powder

1xFreshly ground pepper
¼cupShredded cheddar che

Directions

Heat the oil in a large skillet, add the onion, garlic, and chili powder saute over low heat until the onion is transparent. Add the beans by th and mash into a paste until all are used. Mix well. Add salt and peppe taste and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Serve as a side dish.
