Quickie chicken paprikash

3tablespoonsShortening
1canFranco-American chicken gravy
cupSour cream
1cupSliced onions
1Clove garlic. minced
2teaspoonsPaprika
½teaspoonSalt
1dashPepper
Hot buttered noodles or mashed potatoes

Directions

Dredge chicken pieces in flour; brown in hot shortening; drain off any excess fat. Mix together gravy, sour cream, onions, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper; pour over the chicken. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until chicken is tender and done.

Serve with hot buttered noodles, mashed potatoes or even rice.
