Quickie chicken paprikash

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Chicken pieces
3 tablespoons Flour
3 tablespoons Shortening
1 can Franco-American chicken gravy
⅓ cup Sour cream
1 cup Sliced onions
1 \N Clove garlic. minced
2 teaspoons Paprika
½ teaspoon Salt
1 dash Pepper
\N \N Hot buttered noodles or mashed potatoes

Dredge chicken pieces in flour; brown in hot shortening; drain off any excess fat. Mix together gravy, sour cream, onions, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper; pour over the chicken. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until chicken is tender and done.

Serve with hot buttered noodles, mashed potatoes or even rice.
