Quick strawberry doughnuts

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 can (10-oz) biscuits
\N \N Ripe strawberries
\N \N Confectioner's sugar
\N \N Oil for frying

Heat oil to 365 degrees. Halve biscuits and flatten into rounds ⅛-inch thick. Place a strawberry, coated with sugar, in center of each round.

Gather edge to the top and twist or pinch to seal. Fry in oil, a few at at time, about 2 minutes, or until browned, turning occasionally. Drain. Sift sugar generously over hot doughnuts and serve immediately. (Interior of doughnut is very juicy!)
