Potato & ham scallop

2cupsSpam (12 oz. ea.)
68 medium potatoes, peeled and thinl
¼cupOnion, chopped
½cupAll-purpose flour
2cupsMilk
3tablespoonsDry bread crumbs
1tablespoonButter or margarine
2tablespoonsParsely finely snipped

Directions

Place half the ham or spam in a 2-quart casserole. Cover with half the potatoes and half the onion. Stir half the flour over, season with salt and pepper. Repeat layering ham, potatoes and onion. Sift remaining flour atop. Pour milk over all. Bake covered, at 350 degrees till potatoes are nearly tender to 1-¼ hours. Uncover.
