Plum chicken

Measure Ingredient
2 \N Chickens; quartered
1 teaspoon Seasoned salt
1 medium Onion; chopped
2 tablespoons Butter
4 tablespoons Lemon juice
12 ounces Plum preserves
4 teaspoons Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
1 teaspoon Ground ginger
\N dash Worcestershire sauce
6 ounces Tomato paste
1 \N Cl Garlic; minced
3 tablespoons Brown sugar
6 \N Fresh plums, pitted; quarter

Recipe by: Sherie Stein Season chickens with seasoned salt. Brown in preheated broiler 10 minutes. In medium saucepan saute onion in butter until soft. Add remaining ingredients, except plums. Simmer 15 minutes.

Arrange chicken in single layer in baking dish. Cover with sauce. Scatter plum quarters around dish. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until tender, basting frequently.

Serves 6-8
