Pistachio nut ice cream

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Half-and-half
1 cup Milk
4 ounces Egg beaters or egg substitut
cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Vamilla extract
teaspoon Almond extract
1 dash Salt
1 Or 2 drops green food coloring - Optional
½ cup Coarsely chopped roasted pistachio nuts - UNSALTED

Combine ingredients except pistachios in a blender or food processor and process until well combined. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to freeae. Blend for a few seconds before pouring into the ice cream maker. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for freezing. About a minute before ice cream is finished, add nuts and finish freezing.
