Pecan meltaways

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Butter or margarine --
Softened
½ cup Confectioner's sugar -- 1
Oz
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2¼ cup All-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon Salt
¾ cup Pecans -- finely chopped
¼ cup Confectioner's sugar

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugar and vanilla; mix well.

Combine the flour and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans.

Chill. Poll into 1 in. balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 350 deg. for 10 to 12 min. Roll in confectioners' sugar while warm. Cool; roll in sugar again. Yield: about 48.
