3poundsPeaches, halved, pitted and
Sliced
4cupsPacked brown sugar
Grated peel of 1 lime
6cupsAmber rum, about

Directions

Put ingredients into a 1 gallon container; using enough rum to fill.

Seal container and place on a sunny window sill, occasionally turning it.

After 3 months, pour off the liquor and serve in small cordial glasses.
