Peach rum

Ingredients

| 3 | pounds | Peaches, halved, pitted and |
| Sliced | ||
| 4 | cups | Packed brown sugar |
| Grated peel of 1 lime | ||
| 6 | cups | Amber rum, about |
Directions
Put ingredients into a 1 gallon container; using enough rum to fill.
Seal container and place on a sunny window sill, occasionally turning it.
After 3 months, pour off the liquor and serve in small cordial glasses.
