Oysters in oatmeal

Measure Ingredient
16 \N Oysters
4 tablespoons Medium oatmeal
50 grams Unsalted butter
1 \N Lemon; cut into wedges
\N \N Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Carefully remove oysters from their shells. Lay them on a clean tea towel and allow excess liquid to run off.

Place the oatmeal on a large plate and season generously with salt and pepper. Gently roll the oysters in the oatmeal until they are lightly coated all over.

Melt the butter in a medium sauce pan and fry the oysters for about 1-2 minutes or until lightly golden on both sides.

Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
